There is a special belief that if the devotees come around the great statue of Amman for 18 times, they get spiritually benefitted to lead a peaceful life.
The lady or (female) devotees light lamps called “Agal villakku” near the sacred “Naga-Linga Tree”, for the well being of their dear and near ones.
